With the instant and rather impersonal communications of email, receiving a card in the mail is so much more appreciated today. A set of our hand constructed note cards make a luxurious, affordable gift. We print and make the cards in our studio with recycled content papers.

We have always admired the illustrated herbals of the past, and have created our own version of illustrations inspired by the wonderful text in John Gerarde’s Herbal published 1597. The back of each card features a quote from the herbal which includes his description of the flowers depicted on the front of the card and it’s purpose, medicinal or otherwise. (see sample below)
